Located just one and a half miles from Yosemite's southern entrance on Highway 41, the Sugar Pine Cabin offers a convenient yet relaxing retreat in the rustic town of Fish Camp.
The Sugar Pine Cabin sits at an elevation of 5000 feet. Visitors will experience comfortable summer temperatures with the average high in July of 78 and an average low of 49. Fish Camp makes a great base from which to see all areas of the park and near by Bass Lake where you can rent boats for skiing or fishing. Do you like Trains? Come ride the historic Logger Steam Train, the Jenny Railcars, or schedule a fun filled evening on the famous and memorable Moonlight Special at the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad five minutes down the road. Big Creek in Fish Camp offers fishing and swimming through the public access just a stroll away. During the spring and winter months Badger pass provides a winter wonderland for skiers and boarders alike. If sledding and sliding is your game the "Free" snow park is one mile up the road!
