Terms & Conditions
By accepting reservations at Sugar Pine Cabin at Yosemite you are agreeing to abide by the following terms and conditions:
Check-In
After 3:00 p.m. or by special arrangement.
Check-Out:
Check-out time by 10:30 a.m. Arrangements for late check-outs must be made before the departure date and are subject to additional charges.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations of 30 days or more prior to arrival will only be charged a $30 cancellation fee. Cancellations of 29 days or less will forfeit the first night’s rent. Cancellations of 14 days or less will forfeit the first night’s rent plus any nights that cannot be rebooked. Cancellations include cancellations for any reason, including, but not limited to illness, weather conditions, road closures, natural disasters (such as fire or falling trees).
NO EXCEPTIONS.
Early Departure:
Reduction in length of stay changes cannot be accommodated. Early departure refunds are not allowed.
House Keeping & Maid Service:
This home is cleaned between the check-out and check-in hours. At check-out we ask that you wash your dishes and remove any trash to the cans located outside. Maid services are not available. If a problem arises please call (559) 642-6975. You are provided one towel per person for your stay. If you require more than that please bring your own.
Damages:
You agree to properly use and operate all furnishings, including electrical and gas appliances, plumbing fixtures, electronic home entertainment property, fireplaces, BBQs and all other items of whatsoever kind or nature provided to you during your stay for your convenience. You also agree to leave the home so that no extraordinary housekeeping will be required after your departure. You agree to both notify and reimburse The Sugar Pine Cabin for all necessary and reasonable repairs, replacement for damage or destruction of property caused by you or your guests, or for extra cleaning required. The Sugar Pine Cabin will notify you of the costs of damages or extra housekeeping within ten days after your departure. Acceptance of reservation authorizes The Sugar Pine Cabin to charge your credit card on file for these costs.
Maintenance & Refunds:
The Sugar Pine Cabin makes every effort to assure that appliances in the home are in operating condition, and ask you to report any problems as soon as they are discovered. We will make every effort to correct the problem; however, at times we must wait for parts or outside service. Refunds cannot be made for inconvenience due to mechanical failure of appliances.
Maximum Number of People:
This cabin has a maximum occupancy limit, and rates were quoted based on the number of guests expected. All guests were counted as chargeable guests. Your rate was based on the number of guests represented during the reservation process, and this number was reviewed during the registration process. Any party falsely representing the number of people in the home or exceeding the number paid for may be subject to immediate eviction without refund. Over occupancy is considered a serious violation of this rental agreement.
Pets:
No pets are allowed at the property.
Release of Liability:
Tenant agrees to indemnify and save and hold harmless the homeowners from any loss, liability, damage or cost that may be incurred due to tenant’s occupancy on premises. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be mediated subject to the rules of the American Arbitration Association at the branch office closest to Oakhurst, California.
WEATHER, WINTER AND ROAD CONDITIONS:
This area has two lane roads which can be hazardous any time of the year. We also experience all four seasons, which can bring stormy weather and possible power outages. Winter driving conditions are a possibility and you are advised to check the weather and suggest that you carry chains during the months of November through April. There will be no refunds due to inclement weather, power outages or road closures for any reason.

High Season: June-September
Winter: November-Mid April
Holidays:
January: Martin Luther King Birthday
February: Presidents Day, Valentines Day (two day minimum unless it falls on a weekend then three day minimum)
May: Memorial Day weekend
September: Labor Day weekend
November: Thanksgiving
December: Christmas, New Years Eve
Stay Requirments
Holiday and High Season: 3 nights minimum (unless a two night stay is available)
Low Season: 2 night stay required
Winter Season: 2 night stay required
